Building a Network

Networking is inherently social. Developing a social network is directly intertwined with your professional life. Be intentional about how you build connections in your day-to-day life.

Attend social events

Attend industry events (Conferences, dinners, etc.)

Invite someone via social media to coffee or drinks to make a new friend (and connection)

Spend 30 minutes researching relevant connections

Spend 30 minutes sending LinkedIn requests and emails to build relationships. Start conversations whenever possible.
